43-year-old Los Angeles man shot, killed at 4th Avenue party

A Los Angeles man was shot and killed at an 4th Avenue party Saturday night, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.

On October 24, at approximately 11:30 p.m., deputies were called to the 11000 block of 4th Avenue in response to a 911 call reporting that someone had been shot in the front yard of a house. A Halloween party was reportedly occurring at the house at the time.

Deputies found Martin Lopez-Tiana, 43, dead in the front yard upon their arrival.

The department's homicide division is investigating and the coroner will determine the exact cause of death.
