District honors retirees

Staff reports

The Hesperia Unified School District honored this year's graduating class of retiring employees at Monday's school board meeting at Mission Crest Elementary School.

Those honored included Vicki Bires, Pam Borini, Caryn Brown, Mark Dieter, Bill Fagan, Joan Ferris, Sheryl Finch, James Foster, Chet Gilliatt, Etta Collette Hatfield, Candido Hercules, Shirley Kealoha, Jacquelyn Marsh, Donna Millard, James Porter, JoAnne Romero, Martha Roodzant, Sharyn Self, Larry Silverman, Alvesa Smith, Donnie Smith, Judy St. Clair, Lynn Strickland and Linda Trentham.

Each received a golden apple plaque.

It's called last ditch brown nosing. They should drop the film off at WalMart.

So the Photo Shop was not worth keeping yet the district had them there to take pictures? Those Photo Shop employees would have had give up an evening away from their families to be at the board meeting. I bet that must have been hard to know that you may lose your job and still have to perform a service. Here they are photographing employees who are being honored for their service to the district and here they are ready to get the ax. Those employees of the Photo Shop must be true PROFESSIONALS.

Don't worry . . . the board announced the retirees and had the photo shop take very nice pictures PRIOR TO cutting the photo shop loose. They had obviously given it the appropriate forethought. Wink, wink.

Is that the same night that the Photo Shop photographed the retirees and than the board voted to closed them down. How low can you get!
