Letter to the Editor - August 25, 2008

I just wanted to thank your for honoring Val in your paper so many times. It is so wonderful to see that he was such an icon in Hesperia and that he is recognized for it. I am married to his youngest grandson Mike and I was truly lucky to be a part of Val's life for 12 years. He was a good man with a big heart and sense of humor like no other's.

He was truly a loving, caring, funny and amazing man.
