Letter to the Editor - May 13, 2008

There is a lot bigger difference between Vogler and Mitzefelt than your paper reports in its 5/13 commentary. The Board of Supervisors of San Bernardino County also came out with an endorsement of Rita Vogler in the San Bernardino Sun on May 4th. Mitzefelt has ties to Postmus, the Assessor who is under investigation by the authorities. Also I believe Mitzefelt has received a lot of money from builders who would like to see him elected. One of the problems here in the High Desert is crime, gangs, violence and murder because of the affordable housing and the people it attracts. All of this because in the past few years the builders have been catered to. I believe it is time to change this and protect our communities. A vote for Rita Vogler who lives here will be a vote for better communities.
