R/C Flyers Club: Flying high, landing softly
PROPER FLYING: Ronnie Espolt, incoming 2013 president of the Victor Valley Flyers Club of Hesperia, is encouraging those thinking of giving R/C airplanes for Christmas to take advantage of flying lessons. The club provides free training for those with new model airplanes at its air and runway field on Arrowhead Lake Road. Espolt said the average person can learn the basics in about five to 10 minutes.

According to Ronnie Espolt, incoming 2013 president of the Victor Valley Flyers Club, the average flight for new owners of radio-controlled model airplanes is less than 30 seconds. The R/C Flyers Club would like to change that.
